Welcome!  I am Amy J. Trabitz, Ph.D.  Most of my patients call me Dr. Amy.  I have several associates and we provide a safe, comfortable and supportive environment for therapy.  We have specialties in working with children, adolescents and their families, as well as couples, and individual adults for all types of problems and concerns.  Not sure if therapy is the right thing for you?  It might be a bit intimidating to take that next step.  In my experience, many concerns are about  the cost and/or the emotional risk involved in starting therapy.  Don't let these worries prevent you from seeking the help you want.  Call us and ask your questions.  I will do my best to answer your questions and give you an honest assessment as to whether therapy could benefit you now.

Some of the benefits of therapy include:

 1.  Attaining a better understanding of yourself
2.  Finding resolution to the concerns or issues that led you to consider therapy
3. Improving relationships and communication with friends, families, and co-workers
4.  Developing coping strategies to manage anger, depression, anxiety, grief, stress or other emotional  pressures
5.  Improving self-esteem and self-confidence
6.  Changing old behavior patterns in favor of new, more adaptive ones

Call us with your questions or concerns to see if this is a journey you are ready to begin!
